Non-Markovian effects in stochastic resonance in a two-level system

Stochastic resonance is a phenomenon where the response signal to external driving enhanced by environment noise. In quantum regime, effect of often intrinsically non-Markovian. Due combination such non-Markovian noise and force, it difficult evaluate correlation function hence power spectrum. Nevertheless, recently developed algorithm, which called time-evolving matrix product operators (TEMPO), its extensions provide an efficient numerically exact approach for this task. Using TEMPO we investigate effects in stochastic two level system. The periodic time-averaged asymptotic function, along with spectrum, are calculated. From spectrum signal-to-noise ratio evaluated. It shown that both strength effects, indicates importance resonance. addition, show can shift peak position background
